Interface speed variation logging

Hi guys,

I have a user access switch with its interfaces speed varying from 10 , 100 and 1000 mbps as it is configured with speed auto.

I need to monitor this speed variation on the interfaces.

Does anyone knows how I can see  it on  show logg pleaaase.

Modern PCs and laptops, when someone is logged in negotiate to 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps (depending on cable pins).  When they go to "sleep" or logs out, the ports go into 10 Mbps.  

There are settings on the PCs themselves to stay up 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps but I don't recall what settings they are/were.
