internet browsing mostly not working

Hello,

I had a 2950 switch connected to my home adsl modem and now I replaced the modem with a 1721 router with adsl wic ppoe authentication. The problem is that since I am connecting with the 1721 most of the internet pages do not load except google searches. I tried to lower the mtu to 1492 and even lower however I am not sure of what is the cause.

Have you tried configuring ip tcp adjust-mss as well? See below a config guide:

Hi Sean,

That was exactly what I was thinking, that's why I wanted to see the OP's configuration. Seems indeed like an MTU issue - but I want to be sure that the ip mtu and ip tcp adjust-mss commands are placed on proper interfaces.
