Hello All,
We have a wired case in our network infrastructure which recently come to live. we upgraded some our switches to Cisco Catalyst 1000 Series 48-Port from the old Catalyst 2960 48-Port. there is an internet outage only on the new switches for duration of 10 to 20 second when there is power outage and the internet cut is not happening directly after power cut, it will take 1 to 1.30 minute . keep in mind that all the network infrastructure behind 2 UPS. one offline the outer layer one online (APC) inner layer.
so power is like this: Main power-> offline UPS-> online UPS-> network devices
Here the case that internet goes out.
ISP router-> Firepower-> new switch ( internet out)
ISP router-> Firepower-> old switch ( internet working) -> new switch ( internet out)
ISP router-> Firepower-> new switch ( internet out) -> new switch ( internet out)
we have tried many procedure to replicate this issue such as cut the power from the APC , or cutting power from the offline UPS. but only happen when main power goes out.
Please HELP!!

Dear All,
Thank you for all your support, we believe that we found the culprit that was causing this issue. it was small cisco dumb switch hidden in one of the office, this dumb switch was not on UPS, when the power goes out, this switch somehow return a voltage or something back to the main switch causing it to glitch, getting the entire network down. we test it without power outage anytime we plug it in, the whole network goes down.

Hi,
So, is this happening with all the new 1000 series switches or just one of them?
If with all, are they all running the same IOS version?

- Configure a central syslog-server for all involved devices, then analyze logging when these kind of troubles are happening.
