Intervlan Routing Cisco 4900 M

Attached is a config of my 4900M layer 3 router.

It has several vlans configured and I'm advertising the vlans through EIGRP.

Device plugged into a port configured on vlan 200.  The device IP is 10.234.252.10.

I can ping 10.234.252.10 from the 4900, but I can't ping 10.234.252.10 if I do an extended ping and specify an interface address that's not vlan 200.

For example if it do Ping IP 10.234.252.10 with a source address 10.234.253.1, the ping will fail.

Do i need to enable the "Ip routing" command on the layer 3 switch to allow intervlan routing.

I'm not sure why this is not working.

YES.

I think it was already enabled.  Still not able to route inter-vlan.  I'm confused about this issue.

Device plugged into vlan 200 does not have the default gateway for vlan 200  or it is incorrect .

The default gateway on the device nic card which should be  10.234.252.1 .   Also make sure any firewalls on the device are turned off if you are trying to ping it .
