InterVLAN routing with C3560E.

Hi,

Someone know If theses switches WS-C3560E-24PD-S and WS-C3560E-24PD-E can do InterVLAN routing or only the E ?.

All 3560's can do intervlan routing. If you need advanced routing protocols then you will need the ipservices image.

As you may already know, WS-C3560E-24PD-S comes with IP Base software feature set (IPB) while WS-C3560E-24PD-E comes with IP Services software feature set (IPS), the second one can do PBR,OSPF, EIGRP, and BGPv4 but not the first one however, both can do basic IP routing.

The -S series can route between VLANs. You can create an EIGRP stub out of one as well. They do static routing also.

They do not do multicast routing (PIM), EIGRP (non-stub), BGP, or OSPF without the E series.
