Hello,
I'm a bit rusty on the IOS naming convention and I'm hoping someone can help me with my current problem.
I'm performing upgrades on various 3750 switches. Some are currently on 12.2(25)SEE1 and others are on 12.2(25)SEE.
According to Cisco's website, 12.2(25)SEE3 is available, but so is 12.2(37)SE. The latter is the most recent according to the dates, even though it doesn't match the letter increments?
Are these completely different IOS's or am I missing something? I'm going to be upgrading them all to 12.2(25)SEE3 (unless i'm told to do otherwise) but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything vital.
Also, I'm doing this same upgrade to some 3500's, and one of them had been inadvertently skipped on the last upgrade. It's running 12.1(22)EA1a. Will I need to upgrade to an intermediate version before going up to 12.2(25)SEE3? I couldn't find such answers in the release notes.
Thanks!
J
