IOS upgrade C9407R from Version 16.12.06 to 17.09.04a query

Hello,

I will be upgrading a 9400.

The C9407R is currently running IOS XE Software, Version 16.12.06 and System Bootstrap, Version 16.12.2r

I've been trawling through release notes to understand if I need to upgrade to an interim version as I'm jumping many IOS versions before I install cat9k_iosxe.17.09.04a.SPA.bin

Can you advise?

Direct upgrade to 17.9.4a is supported.
