Hi all,
I would like to perform an IOS upgrade on a 3750 stack.
My Stack consists of different types of 3750 switches.
When choose to download the IOS version I can see 2 different naming convension for the IOS files.
c3750-ipbaselmk9-tar.122-55.SE4.tar
c3750-ipbasek9-tar.122-55.SE4.tar
What is the difference between those 2 files. What does the "lm" in the first IOS name stand for.
Which one do I use to upgrade my stack?
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Joris

It looks like it could be LMK is the IOS with express setup and you can't put that on all models of the 3750. What are all the model types in the stack?

Hi,
That is correct. it is the express setup IOS
The Switch types are
WS-C3750G-24TS-S - c3750-ipbaselmk9-tar.122-55.SE3.tar "WITH EXPRESS SETUP"
WS-C3750G-24T-S - c3750-ipbaselmk9-tar.122-55.SE3.tar "WITH EXPRESS SETUP"
WS-C3750G-24TS-S1U - c3750-ipbasek9-tar.122-55.SE3.tar "WITH WEB BASED DEV MGR"
I assume I should take IOS version c3750-ipbasek9-tar.122-55.SE1.tar, this is the same IOS file for all the switches. Probably the WS-C3750G-24TS-S1U does not support the express setup...
Best Regards,
Joris

If you don't care about express setup I would go with all the same.
