Ios upgrade

Hi All,

Need some advises on an upgrade. I have been reading the datasheets and forums, but i got confused with most of the things, probably because this will be my 1st upgrade.

My VS-S720-10GE-3C are currently loaded with s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXH5.bin. I am going to upgrade it to s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI13.bin. What do i have to look out for prior to the upgrade? Do i need to upgrade the fpd, or rommon, etc, before the upgraded ios could work?

What do i have to look out for prior to the upgrade?

Read the Release Notes and pay close attention to the OPEN Caveats, supported line cards.

ROMmon upgrade is usually not needed unless specified in the Release Notes.
