IOS-XE OTV loopback and tunnel depolarization support.

Hi all.

Has IOS-XE gained support for any of the following?

1. Using loopback interface for OTV join-interface.
2. OTV tunnel depolarization.

I know in NX-OS 6.2(6) OTV tunnel depolarization was added. Using a loopback as the OTV join interface was targetted for NX-OS 6.2 from what I've read. But I'm looking for confirmation of support for any of these two features in IOS-XE (for ASR1k).

I've quickly read through the new software features up to IOS-XE 3.17S but I can't find any specific mention of the above.

In case someone else finds this...

I raised a TAC case with these questions.

1. Loopback join interfaces have been on the roadmap for ASR1k but there's no documentation to say that it is supported. An internal question has been raised with the BU regarding this.
2. OTV tunnel depolarization is not supported for ASR1k and there are no plans to support this feature in the future.

I'll follow up regarding point number 1 if I hear anything further.

To close this out, loopback join interfaces are not supported on ASR1k.
