IOS XRV9000 ssh connection

Hi,

We have CISCO IOS XRv9000 installed with FW version 7.3.25.

I tried to create a ssh connection and started with creating a rsa key:

#crypto key generate rsa

When I ran it, I was getting "Operation not permitted" error on the console.

I was running the command from root account.

How to debug this issue?

I don't have the license information on this router at the moment.

Thanks.

James Lee

Hi @jameslee ,

You do not need to generate an RSA key. The only think you should need is to configure the following command:

ssh server v2

This should be enough to ssh to this device.
