ip accounting on catalyst 4506

Hi Friend,

Unfortunately, the 'ip accounting' command is not supported on the 4000 series switches.

Hi ,

If you want to get the output of show ip accounting then you need enable ip accounting on particular interface.

ex: int f0/0

ip accouting output-packets

Then you can see hosts utilization.

Hi Friend,

IP Accounting is not supported on this platform you may get an option for 'sh ip accounting" because it is based on general IOS package.

Talking about to know the traffic between 2 host connected you can configure SPAN on your 4506 and can capture the traffic of 2 ports and send it on one destination port on which you can connect any machine having sniffer software.
