Ip device tracking only works on first stack member

I have found that Ip device tracking only works on the first stack member on a 2960x stack as seen below.  You can see that it only lists devices on the first switch in the stack and none of the subsequent switches.

2960x_stack#show ip device tracking all

Can anyone else confirm this issue when using 15.2(2)E6?

Thanks,

Dan.

same Problem with 15.2(2)E7

Did you find a solution for this?

Hello,

does it work when you configure:

ip device tracking probe use-svi

on the layer 3 device that does the inter-Vlan routing for your stack ?

I only have this options on old L3 device WS-C4510R-E

L3-device(config)#ip device tracking probe ?
  count     Probe count
  interval  Probe interval

There is no option to set "use-svi"

To solve this you have to restart slot 2 or just shut/no shut all ports from slot 2.

After this, the clients will be visible in IPDT table.

Don't know why this happens, but in my case this was the solution to get all clients from all Stack-members into the IPDT table.
