Hi,

/24= 255.255.255 so last octet is for hosts and 3 first octets are for network so as the first 3 octets are the same they are indeed in the same network which is 209.165.100.0.

the broadcast address is all ones for host bits so 209.165.100.255

first usable is 209.165.100.1

last usable is 209.165.100.254

Regards.

Alain
