IP SLA on ME3400 is not supported?

Has anyone used IP SLA on the ME3400?

We have a ME-3400EG-12CS-M (12.2(58)SE1 ME340x-METROIPACCESSK9-M) does not support IP SLA which we will have to use in a coming change. Do we need to upgrade the IOS? To which version? or Is there some feature need to be enabled before hand?
Btw, We have other model of ME3400 (ME-3400EG-2CS-A 12.2(58)SE2 ME340x-METROIPACCESSK9-M) which do support IP SLA.

It was said that the IP SLA should be supported since 12.2(44).

Hello,

Ideally if you are having  metro IP access or metro access image. Switches running the metro base image, such as the ME 2400, support only IP SLAs responder functionality and must be configured with another device that supports full IP SLAs functionality.
