IPS Signature

Hi Guys,

2 weeks back i have upgraded my IPS4250XL, service pack to "IPS-K9-6.0-4a-E1.pkg" also i have upgraded the signature to "IPS-sig-S328-req-E1.pkg". after doing these upgradation we observe that our mails to outside domain are getting delayed. yesterday there was huge queue of mails. at last we tried to disconnect IPS from network and after this all mails started flowing outside. please suggest how do i slove this issue.

The issue may be due to the TCP flows should be subject to TCP stateful inspection until the TCP 3-way handshake is complete. This does not work for TCP sessions with a destination port that is less than 550, if it does not match a predefined signature on the router.
