Configurator says that C3KX-NM-10G= will be end of life and cannot be ordered after 30-Oct-2016 and it suggests using C3850-NM-2-10G.
Is C3850-NM-2-10G compatible with a 3750X Switch? The P/N in question is WS-C3750X-48T-L.

Not compatible.

Thank you Leo.
The End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement page is listing it as a replacement for C3KX-NM-10G=. They should state that it isn't compatible with a switch that uses C3KX-NM-10G= namely the 3750X.
Is there any document with a compatibility matrix for the C3850-NM-2-10G? I couldn't find any.

I believe the C3850-NM-2-10G wouldn't even fit the 3750X. The EoS/EoL announcement, loosely translated, means: 3750X will be EoS soon and this means the replacement model is the 3850 and the module should be C3850-NM-2-10G.

You seem to be right that it wouldn't even fit. The connector in the back is different from photos I could find on google.
Regarding the announcement I think it should be explained a bit better.
If someone (like me) has an existing 3750X and just wants to buy an C3KX-NM-10G= the announcement can be misleading.
Thank you again for clearing this up!

I can't agree more.
There is one thing that you can do: On the upper right-hand corner of the EoS/EoL announcement page is the "feedback" button. Use it.
I've used the "feedback" button several times and Cisco have their staff over at India monitoring this "tray" are quite responsive.
