Trying to see if DNA licensing is forced on top of Network Advantage on these switches.
For instance, if I purchase a Cisco C9300-24UX-A, do I need to also have a DNA subscription in order for it to run, or can I go by without it?
What happens when licensing runs out? Am I left with a paper weight, vs a device that runs Network Advantage only?

It is not really possible as the switch comes with network-essentials license and that includes Cisco DNA but you don't have to necessarily configure it. I have 9300s in production with no Cisco DNA running.
So, nothing will happen.
