Is it possible to set up switchports on a 2950 to emulate a dumb switch?

Is it possible to set up a few switch ports to emulate a dumb switch? Basically I want to seperate those switchports from the rest of the switch so that I can connect a few devices we have to the rest of the network without using the default VLAN (1). As of now, I am using all switchports on the default VLAN, Which is also my management VLAN.

FYI, this is at a remote site, and is seperate from the HQ LAN.

Hello Erik,

if you need to use some ports as they were isolated just create a new vlan for example 5 and associate the ports with vlan 5.

No routing services will be available to vlan 5 and so connected devices will be isolated from your intranet.
