Is PoE+ supported on C3650 with DC power supplies?

Hi,

Its not clear to me reading the datasheet for the 3650 whether PoE+ is support on some or all ports when using the DC power supplies (PWR-C2-640WDC). This is in regards to both the 24 and 48 port models (ex: WS-C3650-48PS and WS-C3650-24PS) Can someone please confirm?

From https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3650-series-switches/datasheet-c78-729449.html no mention of the DC power supply in this table:

And from the installation guide https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3650/hardware/installation/guide/Cat3650hig_book.pdf for the PoE+ it says for the 48 port switch to use (2) 1025W power supplies, however the 48 port switch with DC power only supports the 640W DC supplies. There is no 1025W power supply that is DC available:

And from this https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3650-series-switches/q-and-a-c67-729531.html does it mean with 640W + 640W DC power supplies in the 48 port model only 24 ports out of the 48 can operate at PoE+? Or PoE+ supported only on the 24 port model?

I am quite confused as it is not clear with DC power whether PoE+ is supported on both 24 or 48 port models. Please help.

All models that have P in model name support POE+.

3650 supports PoE+ but not all will GET PoE+.
PoE/PoE+ power is distributed in a first-come-first-serve-until-exhausted basis.

Depends on your model and your PS.
All 3650/3850 can support 30.0w PoE.  So if you have, say a 48-port switch and you have a PS of 720w then you get, at most, 24 ports (720 / 30 = 24) that can support 30.0w on a first-come-first-serve-basis-until-full.
