isdn interesting traffic

hi all, when i want to bring up my isdn line to a remote site say on 172.16.1.1/24, on my central router connected to this branch, would i use dialer list 1 protocol ip list 1

access list 1 permit 172.16.1.0 0.0.0.255 ?or do you permit source traffic , ie whats on the lan your connected ?

standard access lists use source address. This is what may have been the issue with your earlier conversation.

Put your lan address (source) in the ACL and put your destination address in the static route.

Your lan traffic will be the souce which will be the interesting traffic to trigger DDR.
