ISP Failover

We have two 2801 routers terminating one isp each on routers.

We would like to configure redundancy not load balancing . I used HSRP with multiple interfaces between two routers but no failover happening

Hello Jerome,

default decrement for each tracked interface that fails is 10.

then you need also

standby preempt

on both routers or failover doesn't happen

As Giuseppe says but if you already have that config do a sh standby on both routers and sh run's on the concerned interfaces and post them here for a further look.
