 - "O" means that a packet was received out of sequence during the tftp transfer. This is not a problem;
    verify the md5sum of the transferred image on the switch (too) using verify /md5 flash:<cat....SPA.bin>

  M.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
    When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Hi,

A period (.) indicates a timeout. So, no data are transferred.

you can find the answer for instance here

https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/tftp-image-file-tranfer-out-of-sequence/td-p/1986184

and I found something also here on cisco.com

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/ios_xe/fundamentals/configuration/guide/2_xe/cf_xe_book/cf_file-transfer_xe.html

Best regards,

Jan

Hey, glad you got your answer. Just make sure to double-check the file that was uploaded to confirm the transfer actually completed cleanly. You can find the md5 checksum under the file info oin the cisco downlolad page for that version.
