GigabitEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up
     reliability 254/255, txload 1/255, rxload 2/255

Gi0/0 line errors is caused by a faulty cable.

Why are all these ports hard-coded with the duplex and speed settings?

Sorry Sir,

I was configured myself only,  Because I am learning CCNA R&S myself only, here nobody is there to guide me. That is the actual reason.

Thank you very much for your support.

So, now coming to the issue I understood 2 things,

1.Right now shall I change the cable

2.And change the Duplex and Speed is auto right

I think that is enough if I am not wrong.

Please let me know if there is anything wrong.

And one more thing is  interface G0/0 is connected to ISP so I need to change the both ends Duplex and Speed is AUTO.

Always start with configuring the speed and duplex setting to auto and then observe if the ports auto-negotiate correctly or not.

Hello Sir, Good Morning

I was changed the Duplex and Speed, both are AUTO. But whenever I am taking the show interface G0/0 command at that time it is showing the Duplex & Speed is Full & 100.

Then how to resolve this issue?

But I am not getting the any errors like Input errors, CRC and Frames. Except unknown protocol drop.

Please find the below details,

Router#sh run int g0/0

Regards,

Raj

I was changed the Duplex and Speed, both are AUTO. But whenever I am taking the show interface G0/0 command at that time it is showing the Duplex & Speed is Full & 100.

It's OK.  Look at the interface counters.  The line errors have been "0" for the last 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Hello Sir, Good Morning

What I am trying to say is, I did all required changes like Duplex and speed is AUTO.

But whenever I am taking the command show interface G0/0 & f0/0/1, at that time it is showing the Duplex- FULL and Speed-100. I want to see Duplex & Speed both are Auto.

Because of other end clients also still able to see Duplex & Speed is FULL and 100. they told me to change the AUTO.

How I will do that one?

See below details,

Regards,

Raj

It could be a bug.

Try rebooting the router and see if the output changes.

Hi Sir,

I did router rebooted twice, but still it is showing same. But I am changing the

1.Duplex and Speed is Full and 100, at that time it is showing correctly like (Duplex-Full & Speed-100)

2.Duplex and speed is half and 100, at that time also it is showing correctly like (Duplex-Half & Speed-100)

3.But coming from Auto, at that time it is showing like (Duplex-Full & Speed- 100)

This is what I am getting exactly.

Please suggest me any possible reasons?

Regards,

Raj

This command is gold!!!!

played around with it and found show controllers ethernet-controller fa 1/11

Which is amazing!
