Hi Team, We have Cisco 3750 core where all SVI have been created and distribution switch as 3750 L2 and access switch as 9200L. I want to understand if the fiber connectivity between Core where SVI is created and distribution switch goes down still the computer connected to access switch will be able to communicate with each other or not(192.168.1.4 and 192.168.1.5). Yes they can communicate with each other in the same vlan. However communication between vlans will not work.

Hi Yes they will work. But there will be no inter vlan routing (Another words the vlans will not be able to communication between themselves)

Yes, they will work provided they are in the same VLAN

traffic in L2 SW is two types
VLANx->VLANx this not need SVI nor L3SW
VLANx->VLANy this need SVI L3SW
here your L3SW with SVI and inter-vlan is Core which is done
but non L3SW is your Access SW
so this explain behave you see above.
