What is usage of command l2protocol-tunnel?

What is is meaning of following command?

l2protocol-tunnel shutdown-threshold cdp 300

l2protocol-tunnel shutdown-threshold stp 300

l2protocol-tunnel shutdown-threshold vtp 300

Hi,

This command is used to tunnel Layer 2 pdu's across the network .The threshold mentioned looks for the number of packets in a second and if exceeded , it makes the port to err-disable state.
