Hi all,
I have an already configured and working pseudo-wire connection between HUB side ---> POP1 in order to extend some vlans.
Recently we purchased an additional line for backup purpose.
I created on HUB side 2 pseudo-wire classes like the following:
HUB:
pseudowire-class X1
encapsulation l2tpv3
ip local interface Loopback0
pseudowire-class X2
encapsulation l2tpv3
ip local interface Loopback0
interface GigabitEthernet1/0.40
encapsulation dot1Q 40
xconnect 2.2.2.2 40 pw-class X1
backup peer 3.3.3.3 440 pw-class X2
i have the following message:
% Backup by configured pseudowire is not supported on this platform
The weird thing is that first time it accepts this command before i created Pw x2 after that the above message appeared.
Can someone help please and advise if my configuration is wrong ?
HUB router is:
Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 15.1(4)M4, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
POP routers:
Cisco IOS Software, 7200 Software (C7200P-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.0(1)M3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
I have attached a network diagram for better visualization.
Thank you in advance
Bernard
