Hi there,

I need to know if LAG channel groups can be used to increase capacity of media converted links? (i.e. wireless links).

For example.. aggregating two 1300 series wireless bridges via 2 switches.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Rob

Hello. Mr simkins,

Yes is possible to configure link aggregation on wireless links.

The main advantage is that the net bandwidth of the aggregated link is the sum of all the links participating in the link aggregation.

Let me send you a link from the cisco site that explains the process step by step.

Please check the Enabling Link Aggregation section on the Table of contents.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/4.0/configuration/guide/c40mint.html

I hope this information is useful for you.

Thank you
