I here attached the switch config too , 192.168.10.254 is our core switch and in 192.168.200.254 and 200.253 all our servers connected and it has a up link to 192.168.10.254 .

Please help to resolve the issue

Hi

that's not exactly high latency, anything under a 150ms can carry voice without issue end to end.

Do you have highly sensitive apps that this is causing issues with ?

As well pinging a switch for a response time is not a good idea as it will not give you a legitimate answer depending if the switch is under pressure or processing any other traffic

Do you get the same response from pc to pc across the lan if it is run a traceroute see where the delay is and check the path interfaces it takes see if theres a load on them

HI Mark

Thank you for the update

Getting the attached error from a sql application server . The SQL team says it is because of the high latency .

And tracert to the server and the switch is <1ms

Do you get the same response when pinging a pc on the same switch as when you ping the sql DB servers

is there load on the core switch or the interfaces on the core where you connect, check the cpu etc show proc cpu history and sorted see what its been like

Check if pcs/servers on core see same issue or if its only when you pass through last switch

And tracert to the server and the switch is <1ms

Is the ping 1ms as well currently or is it fluctuating

you need to rule out the server and its directly connected interfaces as the issue before you rule out the network
