Hello,

I want to replace a Catalyst 2950 with a better switch. The 2950 is using 44 of 48 ports and no additional users are planned, the 4506 that I have in stock is certainly overkill. I know that the 3500series is at end-of-life. What switch would you recommend?

3750 is the next line up from the 2950's and the replacement for a 3550 .

Can you describe your basic needs. Such as doing EIGRP routing, OSPF, Power Over Ethernet, Number of hosts?

3550 will be end of sales soon! 3560 will be the replacement, If you wish to stack then 3570 is the answer,

However, what about the needs of your network?
