Hi.
I would like to know if it is possible to acquire the latest firmware for this switch from somewhere?

I am very sure the WS-C3560-8PC-S is a "regular" 3560 model and the final stable release is 12.2(55)SE train, which can be found HERE.
NOTE:
Read the Release Notes very carefully.
Download the TAR file and use the following command to safely unpack the firmware into the switch:
archive download-sw tftp://<TFTP_IP_ADDRESS>/IOS_filename.tar

Thanks. Does this version work for the 3560-non C model as well?

No, the 3560-C has a C in the name but the regular 3560 does not.

c3560c405-universalk9-mz.152-2.E10.bin
c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin

So I can assume that this version (c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin - listed under 24/48 port models) is universal and should work with 8PC model?

No, c3560-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin only works on 24 or 48 port regular 3560s and not the 8PC model.

Ok. Release notes were Not very clear:
...but since that v12.2(55)SE1 was not available for download (I could only download v12.2.55-SE12) and Leo was certain that this version would work, I decided to try it. The switch has been upgraded successfully!
