Hi,
the current IOS I have for my switch is
SW3560#show version | inc IOS
Cisco IOS Software, C3560E Software (C3560E-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.0(1)SE, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
SW3560#show license detail
Index: 1 Feature: ipservices Version: 1.0
License Type: Evaluation
License State: Active, In Use
Evaluation total period: 8 weeks 4 days
Evaluation period left: 8 weeks 3 days
Expiry date: Apr 29 1993 23:52:46
License Priority: Low
License Count: Non-Counted
Store Index: 0
Store Name: Evaluation License Storage
Index: 2 Feature: lanbase Version: 1.0
License Type: Permanent
License State: Active, Not in Use
License Priority: Medium
License Count: Non-Counted
Store Index: 0
Store Name: Primary License Storage
So I have 2 months for ipservices version,
if it expires, what happens to the switch?
do I need to upload different image to use the permanent lanbase license, when ipservices expires?
appreciate your clarification.

Hi Mohammed,
You have universal software image that has the Cisco IOS code for multiple feature sets.
If you have enabled ipservices features, then you need to purchase ipservices license otherwise it will not affect it's operation and continue working as usual.

Hi
Lanbase is basically layer 2 functions, if you have a temporary ip service license and you have enabled some layer 3 fuctions or other ones over that license for testing for example it could be affected. If you want to keep that functions you should upgrade the license contacting a Cisco authorized partner.
Hope it is useful
