Limited connectivity in wirelss network to AP

Hello,

Following is my new setup.

I have configured L3 Cisco 3560 switch.

Connected L2 2960 switch to port 24 of L3 switch 3560 for wired clients via DHCP scope, which is working very well

Then Connected AP Cisco 1600 to port 23 of L3 switch 3560 for wireless client via another DHCP scope but none of wireless client is obtaining an DHCP IP address instead it's accepting IP starting with 169.X.X.X.

(Both Wired & wireless IPs are working on different Vlans with different IP scope via single DHCP server.)

What could be issue ?

I have connected both L3 swtich & AP with trunk still what is the issue ?

Kindly help.

169.X.X.X is an APIPA address that gets generated automatically when a client can't reach the DHCP.

Have you configured ip helper-address command on L3 switch to forward the DHCP requests from the client to the server?
