Dear all
i need experts advice in selecting right line card for 4503 swittch .
we have arounnd 65 users connecting on core 4503 switch ... so i have dedicated 48 port x 2 line cards for them ... now i need to connect the same switch to a fiber patch panel . with LC cabel..
does cisco have line cards ..with 48 UTP ports and two SFP ?
Exactly as a layer 2 switch with 48 or 24 ports along with 2 or 4 SFP ports for fiber uplinks ?
any line card in 4500 with both UTP AND FIBER ports ?
does supervisor engine has a fiber uplink ? if yes i can use this port to connect to fiber patch panel ...
kindly help ..

You can easily find this information yourself by browsing the product information data sheets for the 4500 switches.
That will allow you also to learn and understand more about the product.

Appreciate your response .
but kindly spread knowledge . what i found out is most of line cards either as fiber or utp support except WS-X4506-GB-T: .
i was looking at something like 48 port + 1 or 2 sfp port line card
24 port + 1 or 2 sfp port line card ?
your help as an expert will be greatly appreciated .

Seriosly, when you look at the products, and what you're looking for is not there, it means Cisco doesn't make it.
Is not like other people can see more products than you.
