Hi All,

I'm investigating a bit of an outage we had on our Netgate based Ipsec VPN which I think is almost certainly related to the netgate. But looking on our core switch stack which is a pair of SG350XG's,  I note in the system log a lot of entries like this;

Port 1 is an uplink to our Edge stack I have two (one on each of the core switches) connected via Port Channel.

Is it normal for this sort of thing to happen or do I need to check cabling or make some config change ?

thanks in advance for any help.

Paul.

Hello,

physical (e.g. cabling) would indeed be the first thing to check. The reason for that one member interface to flap can (obviously) be on both sides.

Maybe a reboot of all devices could help. And of course make sure that you are running the latest firmware version.
