load balancing based upon http or https

I have a customer who wants his new ASA-5520 to load balance out-going traffic between 2 ISPs, fairly normal request. Now here's the twist. He wants to separate traffic based upon the protocol used, http to one ISP, https to the other. Does anybody know if it is possible?

to my best knowledge this is not possible on an ASA as it doesn't support PBR.

Hello,

Policy Based Routing would be the best way to accomplish this, however, Alain is correct.  PBR is not supported on the ASA.

why cant u do this PBR at Switch end and send to ASA ?
