Load balancing in switch

Hello

I have 2 servers ( solaris 10 )  as shown , i need to run load balancing between them to distribute the traffic  .

notice that the servers work together .

so how i can configure the switch to do this ?

what is the switch that i need ?

Hi there,

You can use Cisco IOS Server Load Balancing to achieve load balancing for the two servers, but I think it only runs on the Catalyst 6500 series switch.

Hi,

You need Layer-4 loadbalancer such as ACE, it can rapidly virtulize your Datacenter and provide you with application Acceleration and loadbalancing.

However, the Module is Only supported and can be used for 6500 Catalyst Switches.
