Logging synchronus? and command defaults?

Hello all,

Another newbie here.

I am very new to the world of the mystical computer. I am currently studying for my ccent and I am using some instructor prepared practice tests. I have hit a bit of a wall on a few of the questions and would greatly appreciate some help. I will start with the easer of the two.

#1. which of the folllowing commands are interface defaults in a cisco switch

a. switdhport mode access

b .switchport port-security

c. switchport port-security mac-address sticky

d. switchport port-security max 1

e. switchport portsecurity violation restrict

f.  no shutdown

I know that f is a default, butt I am a little lost on the other?

#2. What is a reason to not use the logging synchronous command?

a. to see debug messages

b. to see buffer log messages

c. to see logs a debugs during a reload

d. to see log and debugs during a ping

I know that the logging synchronous command will prevent interruptions in typing. however I am not familiar enough with debugs and troubleshooting to know when you would want to be interrupted?

I would appreciate any guidance that can be offered in answering these questions

Thank you
