logging trap debugging and/or debug all

Hello,

Currently my switch is properly configured for logging to a syslog server, and using ’logging trap informational‘‘

If I configure ‘’logging trap debugging’’...Do I create the same effect sending debug information to my syslog server as if I using ‘’debug all’’?

I really want to be sure about this before I flood my syslog server...:(

Please any comments are more than welcome.

Regards,

guruiz

Hi,

you will send debugging and lower level loggings to the server  so if you for example do a debug ip nat you'll send the  corresponding debug outputs but not more.but it may be a lot of output depending which debug command you entered.
