Hi,
I having an issue with my Cisco 1841 ISR as I accidentally changed the config register to 9600 by accidentally typing confreg 9600 in ROMMON mode so i lost connection through console. Is there any chance to physically do a hard reset in my 1841 router? I just bought it on ebay last month. Or is there any possible way to fix it through aux port as my 2 fe ports are intermittent at the moment as I couldn't get in to both of them.
Thanking you guys in advance.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,
There is no hard reset key on these devices. Have you tried the password recovert pertudure and see if you can get back to Rommon and change it back to 0x2102?

Hi Reza,
Thanks for the reply. I couldn't get back to rommon either as I completely lost my connection to the console and what i am thinking to do now is to get into aux port if it's possible?
