I need to replace some switches and need a low end 24-48pt option with ability for etherchannel. Any suggestions, looking for low end, cost effective solutions
You can go for 2960 switch which is one of the starting layer 2 low end enterprise switch with capability of etherchannel and 24 and 48 ports density options.
You can also go for new model which is lower model than 2960 which is Cisco Catalyst Express 500 Series Switches which comes with etherchannel capacility but it does not have the option of 48 ports and the max port supported by this switch is 24.
