mac add being dropped

Hi,

Can you have two mac addresses showing on an interface? Is this normal then the switch authenticates only the first mac and the second one is drop as I see from the mac table!

Hi

The mac addresses are unique, you could have several mac addresses on the same interface but it could be because the mac address table has not cleaned the information after a certain time or if there is a hub connected to the port. 

You could configure: mac address-table aging-time seconds (it could be in multiple of 5) to clean the mac address-table periodically.
