mac address aging time

I have to view how long specific mac address belong mac address table on switch since last update.

How can I do it?

Hi ,

Use the show mac-address-table address xxxx.yyyy.zzzz command and under the "age" column you'll see the age in seconds since it was last updated.

dont you know how often this timer updated, every time when frame send from source device which connected to switch port? or it aging all 300 seconds, and after that updates.(I mean with active port device which transmit and revcieve traffic)

The timer should be updated every time a new packet with that mac-address is received on the port.
