HI,
I have connected WLC to core switch on gig 5/5,
mac address table is below -
core#sh mac-address-table
Unicast Entries
vlan mac address type protocols port
4001 8843.e131.1983 dynamic ip GigabitEthernet5/5
4001 8843.e131.198b dynamic ip GigabitEthernet5/5
4001 c8bc.c80b.f5d7 dynamic ip,other GigabitEthernet5/5
4001 c8bc.c81c.3572 dynamic ip GigabitEthernet5/5
highlited is mac of WLC, which are these other mac adresses learning thru gig 5/5?
these are not virtual or service port mac of WLC.

These might be MAC addresses of the interfaces, configured on WLC
I checked my port, connected to WLC, I can see those MAC addresses on the switchport, connected to WLC

Hi,
go there and enter the first 3 bytes of MAC like this xx-xx-xx and you'll know the manufacturer: http://standards.ieee.org/cgi-bin/ouisearch
The last 2 are from Apple NICs.

It might be wireless clients MAC address as well
