I have an environment with Cisco 7941 phones and Dell Notebooks with port replicators. When i undock a notebook and plug it in elsewhere in the network the MAC-Address Table entry does not age out and consequently the notebook is unusable due to conflicting MAC-Address entry locations. The only way i can get that MAC-Address out is to shut the port down and bring it back up. My assumption is that the phone will not release the MAC-Address and therefore popultates the Table with that address and won't let it age out. Any ideas???

What type of Cisco switch are you using and what version of IOS?
Can you post the port config from the switch with this issue?
