Mac Based Support in 2960,3560G

Dear Sir,

As discussed, please find below the existing switch models:

WS-C2950G-48-EI IOS: 12.1(22)EA4a

WS-C2960-24TC-L V02 IOS: 12.2(25)SEE2

WS-C2960-48TT-L V05 IOS: 12.2(44)SE6

We  intend to procure:

WS-C3560G-24TS-S - to be used as a core switch.

WS-C2960-48TT-L

Please confirm how we can enable MAC based security on the above mentioned switches. Do we need to procure any IOS upgrade etc. to enable MAC based security on all ports.

What exactly do you mean by mac based security ie.

1) are you talking about using access-lists with mac-address

2) are you talking about using port security

3) are you talking about using 802.1x mac-address authentication

   Your best is to just go to the cisco.com main page and do a search on each model .  Search on " configuring  2960, 3560 , etc...   It will popup the configuration instructions for each model.
