Max USB flash drive size for 3850 running 16.12.08

I was wondering if the Cisco 3850 series switch was limited to only using FAT format for USB flash drives?

Depends on the brand. 

I have not tried it yet, but Cisco 240 Gb SSD would even work.

Thank you for the article but I am aware of it and that article says it's limited to 1Gb but it's actually 4Gb. My question was whether the format was limited to only being able to use FAT.
