Maximum Receive Signal on C1111 LTE Modem

We had to use external antenna mounted on the roof for the LTE modem.  We are receiving a -35dBm which is super strong,  With that level damage the radio receiver?  Also is it possible to aggregate the LTE Carriers?  I see it is an option on the show cellular 0/2/0 network, but can not find the commands to do so.

Hello,

I don't think you can throttle the signal manually, but I am not aware that a strong signal can damage the receiver...

With LTE carrier aggregation, you mean having multiple PDNs ? The C1111 does support that, check the link below:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/1100/software/configuration/xe-16-7/cisco_1100_series_swcfg_xe_16_7_x/cisco_1100_series_swcfg_chapter_01011.html#con_1347223

We could change out the antenna, or add additional attenuation into the RF line.  Thank you for the link, that was what I was looking for!

  - For this  I would presume yes  , ref : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/1000-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/datasheet-c78-739512.html , look for Carrier aggregation band combinations
