Baisc configuration done. All the links are UP. Connectivity showing, but hosts are not communicating with basic configuration. New Vlan created and switch port added but same problem.

Check the ip address assignment of the host. Check if they are in the same network. Check the following link to see if the configurations are done right http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/metro/me3400/software/release/12.2_25_ex/configuration/guide/swint.html.
