microsoft NLB on 4507R switch

Hi

I have an issue with NLB implementation.

I'd like to force the virtual mac address of the NLB cluster on 2 different ports of the switch with the command : "mac address-table <MAC@> vlan <VLAN ID> interface <1st int> <second int>" in order to avoid the flooding of trafic to the whole VLAN.

Unfortunately, this command is not accepted by the 4500 : one can set only one interface by mac address.

I also tried on a 3560 switch and the command passed, but not on my 4500.

My question :

Is this a restriction of the 4507R or is it a problem of IOS (I run 12.2(25)SG enterprise services with crypto on 2 SUPIV) ?

Is this the NLB scheme that uses multicast MACs (01:00:5e: ..). If so, then IGMP snooping will take care of it. The only residual flooded traffic will be the heartbeats, which are not IP. They amount to 2 packets per second per server.
